  1. Hi Carmen,

Welcome to the Winter Learning Journey! It is so great to see that you have joined us this holiday. I really enjoyed reading your post about Valerie Adams. She is one of New Zealand's most famous athletes. She has already won two gold medals at previous Olympics and is hoping to earn her third in Rio. Pretty incredible, 'eh?! I hope that she is successful. It looks like she might have a tough road ahead of her, however, because she has so recently undergone surgery. I wonder how she's feeling this week about the upcoming games. I wish that I could interview her to find out. If you had the chance to interview her, what are two questions that you would like to ask her?

I hope that you'll continue blogging with us this holiday! If you would like to practice more interview-style questions, you can try Day 5, Activity 2. It's pretty fun!

Keep up the great work :)

    Rachel
