The Unfair Rule

I think that it is unfair that girls were not allowed to compete because nowadays new Zealand have lot of women competing in the Olympics, but if women weren't allowed to compete surely they would have been allowed to watch, but no women weren’t allowed to watch. I think the women can do a lot more and should be allowed to express the true potential.

  1. Good morning Charlie!

I really enjoyed reading your post. I found it quite inspirational! You have made a number of important points about the fairness of the 'No Girls Allowed' rule and I do completely agree with you. I, too, believe that both men and women should have the same opportunities to participate in elite sporting events, like the Olympic Games.

Fortunately, the modern day Olympic committee agrees with us and they have changed the rules to allow women to compete alongside men in the games. Thank goodness! I am certainly looking forward to watching the men and women from New Zealand compete in the upcoming games in Rio. Will you have the time to watch any of the Olympic coverage on TV? I hope so!

Keep up the great work, Charlie.

    Cheers, Rachel
