Week 1 Day 4

Activity 2
Before you start packing your suitcase you will want to create a list of everything that you will need to bring with you. Most airlines let you bring one big suitcase with you so you’ll have to think carefully about what you want to bring…
On your blog site, post a list of everything that you need to pack for your trip. Put a star (*) beside the 5 items that you think are the most important.
Bonus Activity
Make a word poem called a ‘wordle’ using your packing list (i.e. the list of of things you are taking with you on your trip). To make a wordle you need to go to the Wordle website [http://www.wordle.net/create]. Enter the words for all of your items into the box provided and click ‘Go.’ The website will create a wordle for you. Save the wordle and then post it on your blog.

      Nice! Good extra things. How would you talk to your family to let them know where you are? And how would you find your way when you were lost?

      You can have a 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12...

      Hi Mark and Charlotte,

      I like the list that you have created so far, Charlotte. You will definitely need clothing and toiletries. You may also want to bring a camera with you or a phone so that you can take pictures of the amazing things that you see along the way!

      It would be great to see you convert your packing list into a wordle (word poem). It's the bonus activity for today and it's pretty fun!

      The best website to use to create your wordle is called 'Tagul.' You simply write each of your words into the table that is provided on the Tagul website (https://tagul.com/) and then click 'Visualize.' It will produce a word poem for you!

      The bonus activity is worth an extra 4 points!

      I'll check back soon to see if you've decided to create a wordle.
