W2 D8 A1 by Faith
My favorite thing to do on my blog for the summer learning journey is learning new things. Also I like that it keeps me busy in the school holidays when ever I have nothing to do.

W2 D7 BA: By Faith
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day?
Or
Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day?
I strongly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because without breakfast you wouldn’t be fully energized for the day so you won’t get enough energy to do school work or work for adults.

Faiths W2 D7 A1
Activity 1
Compare the picture of common breakfast foods in the country you’ve chosen with what you typically eat for breakfast here in New Zealand. I usually have a bowl of sultana bran cereal with trim milk and a cup of tea. What about you? On your blog, please tell us:
- What you eat for breakfast
- What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast
- Which of the two breakfast options (your breakfast or the breakfast in the other country) you prefer. Why do you prefer it?
What I eat for breakfast: Toast with butter and jam.
What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast: Vegemite and toast
Which of the two breakfast options would you prefer. Why do you prefer it.
I would choose the Canada breakfast and the english breakfast. The reason I chose the canada breakfast was because it was pancakes and I love pancakes with maple syrup and butter. And the reason why I chose the English breakfast is because it looks so delicious and I love bacon eggs and everything on that plate. My breakfast is so simple but pancakes and english breakfasts are so detailed and those types of breakfasts will fill you up for the day.

Poem about entering a new country:
I look around and see people playing on the fields
I think i'm so frightened i would need to hold up a shield
When I hear people talking in a different language
I wish I could do that by filling my tummy with a sanduage
Sounds crazy but it’s true
I would try to make friends in a new country if I were you.

Faith Day 5 Bonus activity Summer learning journey:
Short story:
I looked around the room, nothing seemed unusual but then I looked for my draws. My draws wasn’t their. At first I thought I was just dreaming but then I pinched myself and realized I wasn’t dreaming. So I ran out of my room to go down the stairs and tell my Mum. But then I looked down and saw that the stairs was gone. I wondered how I was going to get down. I screamed for my mum because she sleeps downstairs. She was still sleeping though. When my Mum is sleeping she won’t get up no matter how hard you try.
But this only meant one good thing. If I couldn’t go down stairs then than that means… NO MORE SCHOOL! Yaaaaay. Everything stopped disappearing it was just the stairs and my draws with all my clothes. So that meant that when my mum wakes up and my dad then they are going to have to build a new staircase so I can come down. But then if I can go down than I will have to get ready for school because I left my uniform on the ground and not inside the draws so my uniform is still here. Noooo! I will have to go to school.

2 things that I did in Wellington (Capital city of New Zealand)
1.When I went to Wellington I went to the museum. The museum was called Te papa. We went in 2015 and that was the year to celebrate 100 years from when the war was happening. I was very excited to see that because I wanted to see what guns they had and also wanted to see it because my birthday was on anzac day.
2.The second time I went there was this year and we went to the shops and we went out for dinner.

2 Reasons why I think that we shouldn’t ban bullfighting.
Reason 1:
I think that we should keep bullfighting in spain because it is a traditional sport from spain and it has been around for years so I think that we should encourage it more.
Reason 2:
I think that we should keep bullfighting because if they taught others how to bullfight then bullfighting could be a popular sport and it could be known as the official spanish sport.
