W3- Day 11 - Activity 2 - Sport hero By: Shanya

Maria tutaia and Jane watson - 

Maria tutaia is my sport her along with Jane watson. Jane watson plays GK and GD and Maria tutaia plays GA and GS. These to players star my favourite positions in netball. One time I got 14 goals in one game and GD because it's kind of easy for me to get the ball when I am taller than the others. Maria tutaia is good for goal shot because shes tall and it's kind of easy when you're tall. Jane watson is good at getting the ball of the player when they are going to shot.

    I know those two players! Great choice. Do you play Netball too? I play indoor netball sometimes with my mates because it is heaps of fun!

    Hi Mrs. Barlows,

    I have been playing netball for 2 years but then 2016 I stopped because I thought that I needed a break from netball and I used to get sick from netball sometimes.One time it was raining so hard but we kept on playing i was making the car seat wet on the way home.

      Hi Shanya!

      Haha! That sounds like a real experience. It is really hard and miserable at the time, but then we look back on it later and say "it was fun".

      Will you play this year?

      Also,
      Mrs is for a married woman,
      Miss is for a single woman, and
      Mr is for a married/single man.

      So I am Mr. Barlow.. but you can call me Mark if you like, the students at my school do.

      Hi Shanya,

      It's great to read that you are going to re-join netball this year. I'm sure that you'll really enjoy it! I joined a netball team a few years ago and I really enjoyed playing with my friends. I was brand new to the game so it took awhile to learn but, once you get the hang of it, it's really enjoyable, isn't it?

      What position do you play in netball? I played centre...
